Pop Team Epic's Popuko, Pipimi Take on Dessert for Cafe Collaboration

The buffet restaurant chain Sweets Paradise launched a collaboration with the Pop Team Epic anime on Friday. The campaign launched at four of the restaurant's locations throughout Japan on Friday, and it will kick off at another two locations in March.
Judging by the collaboration image above, Popuko doesn't seem to be a fan of Instagram. The image's text reveals that she is not only putting a knife in hotcakes, but also the "insta-bae" trend of crafting perfect photos for Instagram.
The cafe collaboration includes special menu items inspired by Pop Team Epic's leading ladies, Popuko and Pipimi. Food offerings include rice dishes, pasta, a waffle, and a parfait. Beverages include "Go Go Go Drink" and "Do you understand the meaning? Café Latte."
People who order a set with a collaboration food or dessert item plus a drink will receive one of six 2019 New Year's cards at random. For every additional drink, they can receive another card. A lottery is also offering chances to win prizes.
The special cafe is selling three varieties of limited-edition acrylic key holders, two varieties of tin badges, a clear file, and other merchandise. In addition, participating restaurants have Pop Team Epic decorations and photo spots.
Sweets Paradise has previously collaborated with anime such as Attack on Titan, Fairy Tail, and Mr. Osomatsu.
