Voice Actors, Staff Attend JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Blu-ray Release Party

The staff of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure will hold a three-day talk show event featuring voice actors, theme song performers, and other staff from the anime to commemorate the release of new Blu-ray Disc box sets of the series. The event will run from September 16 to 18 at Tower Records in Shibuya, Tokyo. The event days will have themes for the "Phantom Blood," "Battle Tendency," and "Stardust Crusaders" arcs, respectively.
On September 16, Speedwagon's voice actor Yōji Ueda, producer Hiroyuki Oomori of Warner Brothers Japan, and "JoJo -Sono Chi no Sadame-" opening theme song performer Hiroaki "Tommy" Tominaga will appear at the event.
On September 17, Rudolf von Stroheim's voice actor Atsushi Imaruoka, series director Kenichi Suzuki, and producer Nobutaka Kasama of david production will attend.
The event's final day, September 18, will feature Avdol's voice actor Kenta Miyake, director Naokatsu Tsuda, and animator Yasufumi Soejima.
Fans who purchase or pre-ordered the compilation theme song album JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Theme Song Best Generation or any of the four Blu-ray Disc box sets will receive priority tickets that they can use to get three different tin badges depending on the days of the event they attend. The event will distribute a Jonathan Joestar tin badge on the September 16, a Joseph Joestar version on September 17, and a Jōtarō Kūjō version on September 18.
The JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Theme Song Best Generation theme song CD shipped on August 23 for the retail price of 2,500 yen (about US$23). The CD features a total of eight opening and ending theme songs for Parts 1 through 3 of the anime.
The first Blu-ray Disc box includes the nine episodes of the "Phantom Blood" arc on two discs, a 32-page booklet, and an original postcard drawn by series creator Hirohiko Araki. The list price is 10,800 yen (US$100), and the set will ship on September 13.
The second Blu-ray Disc box includes the 17 episodes of the "Battle Tendency" arc on three discs, a 32-page booklet, and an original postcard drawn by Araki. The list price is 20,400 yen (US$190), and the set will ship on September 27.
The third and fourth Blu-ray Disc boxes include the 24 episodes of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders and the 24 episodes of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Egypt Arc, respectively. Both boxes are tentatively priced at 24,000 yen (US$220), and complete details have not been announced. The third box will ship on October 25, and the fourth will ship on November 29.

The anime's fourth anime, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, aired from April to December 2016 for 39 episodes, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. Part 8 of the manga, JoJolion, debuted in Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine in 2011 and is currently serializing.
The live-action JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond wa Kudakenai Dai-Ichi-Shō (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable Chapter I) film opened in Japan on August 4 and ranked at #5 at the Japanese box office in its opening weekend.
