Your Internet at Comiket Brought to You By Saiyuki Reload Blast

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Saiyuki Reload Blast and SoftBank are teaming up to make sure all your devices stay connected at this summer's Comiket event. SoftBank will deploy a wrapped mobile base station and Wi-Fi temporary access points around Tokyo Big Sight on August 11-13.

The mobile base station will be in the east side parking lot to help alleviate foot traffic congestion while the temporary hot spots will be at Tokyo Big Sight, the East Exhibition Hall Passage, West Exhibition Hall 1F Atrium, Rooftop Exhibition Hall, and Eastern Parking Lot. For some spots, the SSID will be changed to ".SB_Saiyuki_20th" during Comiket. Event goers can also be on the look out for "hot spot ninja," individuals that function as living wi-fi access points. They will also hand out limited Saiyuki flags.

These Saiyuki images will wrap around pillars in the first floor atrium.

Kazuya Minekura's original Saiyuki Reload Blast manga is a sequel to her earlier Saiyuki and Saiyuki Reload manga series. Funimation describes the anime:

At last, they've reached the end of their long and treacherous journey! The Sanzo party finally arrives in India, a land where the anomaly's influence runs rampant. The battles that lie ahead promise more bloodshed and danger, but Sanzo, Goku, Gojyo and Hakkai must rise to save the world and stop the resurrection of the Ox Demon King, Gyumaoh—no matter the cost!

The third compiled volume of the manga shipped this month, the first for the series in three years.
