Growth Squadron Nobiranger Web Anime Promotes Nutrition for Kids

A new educational web anime is aiming to teach viewers the nutrients they need to live a healthy life. This is anime though, so those nutrients are represented as a super hero sentai team. Seichō Sentai Nobiranger (Growth Squadron Nobiranger) stars Lactoferrin (Kouichi Yamadera), Vitamin B (Natsuki Hanae), Calcium (Yūsuke Tonozaki), Magnesium (Fuyuka Ono), and Arginine (Inuko Inuyama). Together, they educate Yūta-kun (SKE48's Yūka Nakanishi) about a proper diet and face off against the villain Devirager (Mitsuo Iwata).
The animation is made in part by For-S Corporation, a mail order dietary supplement company. The company's Nobi Nobi no Kichi product line are supplements designed specifically for kids and have a yogurt flavor. Magnesium is shown giving the vitamin to Yūta-kun out of a Nobiranger branded bag in episode one.
The Japanese company Ateam created moe vitamins in the past. Santen Pharmaceuticals' Eyedrops anime took a similar approach by creating characters that represented the ingredients in its eye drops.
