Super Sonico Teases Wedding Bells in Kamu Kamu Wedding Music Video

Is Nitroplus' busty mascot finally going to tie the knot? The company released a teaser video featuring Super Sonico in the mysterious wedding dress revealed last October. The dress was designed to commemorate Super Sonico's 10th anniversary and ignited rumors that she finally found her special someone. In a new song penned by Sonico herself, “Kamu Kamu Wedding”, she imagines married life as she takes her first steps toward adulthood. Her significant other though, is still a mystery.
Super Sonico debuted in 2006 as the mascot for Nitroplus's annual music festival Nitro Super Sonic. In her first decade of representing the video game company, Super Sonico has been portrayed as a fashion model, university student, and aspiring musician (with her band FAV – First Astronomical Velocity). The theme of her 10th anniversary is “Now I'll become an adult”, and Nitroplus promises more announcements are forthcoming during the year-long celebration.
The Nitroplus booth at Comiket is selling bed sheets and a calendar of the character this week. A 10th anniversary book, figures, Blu-ray box set of the SoniAni: Super Sonico the Animation anime series, and other goods are also planned.
