20-Year-Old Cosplayer Announces Marriage to 51-Year-Old Oh My Goddess! Author Kousuke Fujishima

Well-known cosplayer Nekomu Otogi (20) announced her marriage to manga artist Kousuke Fujishima (51) on her blog and Twitter account on Wednesday. She also had one other surprise: she's pregnant.

"I have an announcement to make to everyone," she wrote. "I have married manga author and illustrator Kousuke Fujishima. I have one more thing to report, I am pregnant with a baby. I am sorry for the surprise. We want to raise it with great care." She also commented on her blog that “...wait and see because I will do my best in front of everyone as a mama cosplayer”.

Fujishima is the artist for the hit manga Oh My Goddess! and You're Under Arrest and worked on character designs for the "Sakura Wars" and the “Tales of” game series. His newest manga, Toppu GP, is currently running in Kodansha's Afternoon Monthly.

Otogi, meanwhile, won first place in "Akiba's Young Men Choose Beautiful Girl Cosplayer Election." Her portrayal as Yatterman's Ms Doronjo in a photo book contributed to her fame as well.

The announcement caused a stir, and fans uncovered a string of flirty tweets between Fujishima and Otogi spanning from April 2014 to July 2015. These include Fujishima's drawing of Otogi.
