Enjoy Figure of Hunter × Hunter's Hisoka At His Most Dazzling

Premium Bandai, Bandai's official shopping site, is taking preorders for a figure of Hisoka from Hunter × Hunter that's a little.... unorthodox.

Hisoka's crotch is lit up by pressing a switch on the figure's base. According to the model sculptor, the order called for a "fast ball" and asked for a Hisoka "so cool it will entrance female fans." The sculptor is proud of the finished product, claiming it captures Hisoka's "ominousness and beauty." The sculptor also refrained from telling their superiors about the light until the figure could be shown off in person. The sculptor says "I'll never forget their shock all my life."

Shining Hisoka costs 4,444 yen (or $36; the price is a reference to both Hisoka's exam number and an East Asian association of four with death) and will ship in June. It can be ordered here. Premium Bandai has released other bizarre Hunter × Hunter figures before, including a figure of Gon with almost a foot of hair and a figure of Biscuit in her muscular true form. Glowing Crotch Hisoka is probably the third figure in this series that was announced a year ago.
