Valkyrie Drive's Rinka Comes to Life as Full-Size Doll

posted on by Eric Stimson
Will tour Japanese media stores in November

Rinka Kagurazaka from the upcoming PlayStation Vita game Valkyrie Drive -Bhikkhuni- has come to life as a realistic, full-sized doll. Made by the sex doll sculptors Orient Industry, with facial features designed by the expert cosmetic artists at JIRO, it's about as close as you could probably get to a realistic-looking Rinka — aside from a cosplayer.

To increase Rinka's realism even further, the doll is also compatible with a smartphone app that lets her speak, breathe, and move — hence her name, LINK A DOLL. The app also lets the user download exclusive wallpaper.

Currently, the Rinka LINK A DOLL is only available on display in Japanese stores. Its schedule starts on November 1 at the Sofmap Nanba Saurus store and Joshin Discpia Nihonbashi in Osaka; she then moves on to the Sofmap in Akihabara on November 6, the Animate in Nagoya on November 14, the Trader store in Akihabara on November 21, and the Theta Shop Mizo no Kuchi in Kawasaki on November 22. These events will also feature a playable demo of Valkyrie Drive -Bhikkhuni-, which hits stores on December 10. Customers who preorder the game will get a complimentary clear file.
