Legendary Pokémon Hoopa Will Lurk in McDonalds in November, December

The Pokémon Company International announced that it plans to distribute a level 50 Mythical Hoopa Pokémon in North America in McDonalds fast-food restaurants in November and December. Specifically, the character can only be accessed from the "Mystery Gift" open in the game menu starting on November 27 to December 23. The character will be available in the 3DS games Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, and Pokémon Y. It comes in its is "Confined Form."

Mythical Hoopa is a psychic- and ghost-type Pokémon that knows Hyperspace Hole, Psychic, Astonish, and Nasty Plot. Its ability is Magician. Players who have Hoopa in their party in the Pokémon Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby game can go to a Poké Mart to get the Prison Bottle, which will allow Hoopa to take the "Hoopa Unbound" form.

Hoopa stars in the Pokémon franchise's most recent film, Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages (Ring no Chōmajin Hoopa), which premiered in Japan on July 18. The game version was distributed in Japan from July to September and in Europe in October and November.
