New Toyota Char Auris Gets Commercial Version in October

Toyota's venture with the fictional Gundam company Zeonic brought the Char Exclusive Auris II concept car to the Chara Hobby event at Makuhari Messe. The company announced at its Zeonic Toyota booth on Saturday that the Char Exclusive Auris II will get a commercial version beginning in October. The company didn't announce a price.
Toyota revealed both a Char and Zaku concept car at the Mori Arts Museum in Roppongi Hills last month. The unveiling included an appearance by Amuro Ray voice actor Tohru Furuya. Furuya jokes that he'd like to see a "White Amuro Exclusive Auris."
This is Toyota's second commercial vehicle based on the Gundam franchise. The company produced Char versions of the MS-186H-CA Auris hatchback, first as a concept car and then as a consumer model in 2013.
