Hello Kitty and Monogatari Series Team to Reunite at Japanese 7-Elevens

The world-renowned Sanrio mascot is teaming up with some familiar faces this fall.
According to a recent Tweet from NisiOisin Anime, Hello Kitty and character's from his Monogatari series are collaborating again to sell some exciting merchandise at Japanese 7-Elevens. The designs can be seen in the Tweet below, though the nature of the goods have yet to be revealed.

The Tweet states: "Hello Kitty and the Monogatari Series are collaborating for the second time! These illustrations feature Shinobu, Hitagi and Black Hanekawa (characters from the Monogatari series)! We'll be selling collab merchandise at 7-Elevens nationwide starting in October! Look forward to it!"
The girls from Monogatari Series can be seen sporting adorable Hello Kitty-inspired fashion pieces such as a shirt and bow for Black Hanekawa, a hat and skirt for Shinobu and a purse for Hitagi.

Hello Kitty and Monogatari characters have previously worked together selling products at THE GUEST Cafe and Diner, a Sanrio-theme eatery in Shibuya.
NisiOisin's novel, Owarimonogatari, will be adapted into an anime to begin airing this October. It is a part of the Monogatari series "final season".
