Food Wars! Star Minami Takahashi Heads to Japan's Meat Festival

Komazawa Olympic Park in Setagawa hosts a truly unique festival every year where hoardes of carnivores can get a taste of their favorite food group. This year's NikuFest is running for two weeks, starting last week and continuing through May 6. Voice actress Minami Takahashi, who stars as the timid chef Megumi Tadokoro in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, headed out to the festival to get her own look at all the delicious food on display and encounters some cosplayers from the show (who initially don't know who she is). A sponsored booth at the festival also cooked up some dishes for attendees.
The video is part of Takahashi's own web series she's doing to promote Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma. Her co-star Yoshitsugu Matsuoka is participating in his own set of monthly cooking videos.
