Fans Pick the Anime Characters They'd Most Want As Dads

A survey conducted on the Tokyo Otaku Mode Facebook page asked readers which anime characters they'd most like to have as their dads. Fortunately, no one was self-punishing enough to choose Evangelion's Gendo Ikari, but there were some other strange choices, including characters that were presumably re-imagined forward into time.

When the votes are tallied separately for male and female voters, the results are a little different. While both groups agreed that Minato Namikaze was their pick for best dad, amongst male viewers, Son Goku took second place, while Kirito took third place.
Meanwhile, amongst female voters, second place went to Black Butler's Sebastian Michaelis, while third place went to Dragon Ball's Son Goku.
