SiegKrone TCG Adds Otomate Games, The Devil Is a Part Timer, and Strike the Blood
posted on by Chris Nishijima
SiegKrone, a popular trading card game in Japan from social gaming company GREE, is known for adapting numerous well-known anime series to their playing field. This month, the card game's official website has revealed three new series that they will be adding to their card game. The two anime series and one game that will be receiving cards based off of them are The Devil is a Part Timer, Strike the Blood, and a number of different Otomate otome games (Hakuouki, AMNESIA, Wand of Fortune, Hiiro no Kakera, Toki no Kizuna, and Clock Zero ~Shuuen no Ichibyou~).
Booster packs and starter decks for The Devil is a Part Timer and Strike the Blood will be coming out on July 31 of this year, while fans of Otomate can expect to see their boys on shelves as early as July 18. Starter decks containing a total of 50 cards for each can be bought individually for 540 yen (5.32 USD) or in boxes containing four decks for 2,160 yen (21.28 USD) for each series. Meanwhile, booster packs containing a total of 9 cards a piece will be available for 540 yen (5.32 USD) per pack or 3,240 yen (31.90 USD) for a box containing six packs.
The best part of this release is that, while the cards in the booster packs will be picked at random, customers may discover a surprise in their packs. All three of these new lineups include cards that have been signed either by the voice actors or illustrators of their series. The list of specially signed cards are as follows:
The Devil is a Part Timer
- Maou Sadao signed by voice actor Ryōta Ōsaka
- Emi Yusa signed by voice actress Yōko Hikasa
- Chiho Sasaki signed by voice actress Nao Tōyama
