Watch Ishikawa Draw Moyashimon Mural in Video

To celebrate the closing of the Moyashimon exhibition, creator Masayuki Ishikawa spent a whopping five hours drawing a mural to thank visitors. The process was videotaped and sped up 30 times for a total of seven-minutes. Ishikawa stops drawing a few times to change costumes, at some point donning character cosplay.

Ishikawa was previously videotaped sketching for bookstores to celebrate the manga's 12th volume release and drew caricatures of the Moyashimon Returns voice acting cast.

The Moyashimon: Tales of Agriculture manga ended in January.
