Official Yowamushi Pedal Cup Race to Take Place in April
posted on by Chris Nishijima
This month, cycling anime Yowamushi Pedal takes its competitive edge into the real world by helping put on the official Yowamushi Pedal Cup in two separate events. First, April 6 will mark the 39th Challenge Road Cycling Race. Taking place in the Shizuoka Prefecture city of Izu, it will be the official location of the competition for the Yowamushi Pedal Cup: Izu Stage. The race is to be put on by the Challenge Road A-J Division and will be held at the Japanese Cycling Sports Center in Izu.
On April 20, the 2nd Chiba Bicycle Race will be held, functioning as the Yowamushi Pedal Cup: Chiba Stage. Held at the Chiba Cycling Race Track, this will be more than just a race. The gathering is intended to be a full blown Yowamushi Pedal collaboration event, complete with character goods for sale, as well as a cosplay event and official event bike sticker giveaway. Event goers will also be able to enjoy photo opportunities as well as gourmet food trucks who will be selling hot meals on the premises.
