Free - Iwatobi Swim Club's Model Town Rents Out Free! Cameras
posted on by Ederlyn Peralta
While visiting Iwami, the town that provides the setting for the hit anime series, Free!, tourists can now take photos with the entire Free! cast.
Starting March 1, tourists can rent Free! x EXILIM digital cameras from the Iwami-cho Tourism Association. The collaboration between Free! and the camera brand, EXILIM is a way for visitors to come and explore one of Japan's tourist hot spots, Iwami in the Tottori Prefecture.
By using EXILIM's image synthesizer, also known as the "Dynamic Photo" feature, visitors can take pictures with the characters from Free! in 20 different photo frames.
Tourists can rent cameras on-site or reserve three months in advanced by contacting the Iwami-cho Tourism Association. The rental cost for a digital camera is 1000 yen (~$9.86) per day and there is also a 1000 yen (~$9.86) security deposit. The cameras do not include an SD card, so visitors must purchase them separately.

In the meantime, fans can stay tuned for the second season of Free! coming soon.
