Attack on Titan Bento Ingredients Revealed
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Hokka Hokka Tei, a Japanese bento food chain, announced its "Attack on Titan Lunch" collaboration with Attack on Titan to create limited-time lunches. So, what exactly goes into a lunch for giant appetites? The answer is a lot of meat and vegetables.
The bento includes a custom bowl featuring a wall design on the outside and colored purple on the inside (to "represent the world thrown into turmoil"). The actual dish includes kinshi tamago (shredded scrambled eggs, inspired by the horse-riding Survey Corps), tartar chicken (because the Titans are also big and meaty), ginger-grilled pork (similar to what Sasha stole from the food pantry), shredded cabbage (to honor the plains the Survey Corps ride through), potato salad (inspired by Sasha), broccoli (inspired by the Titan forest battle), and ketchup spaghetti (based off of the ruined walls).
The lunch's theme is "dedicated to the stomach" and has a whopping 1,119 calories.
Customers who purchase an original "Attack on Titan Bento" will receive one of six special keychains, each featuring one of the Attack on Titan characters wearing a Hokka Hokka Tei uniform. Customers who buy three or more bento will be entered in a lottery for the chance to win one of fifty exclusive 1/8-scale "Cleaning Levi" figures.
