S.H.Figuarts Announces Super Mario Figure

Bandai of Japan has announced the development of S.H. Figuarts' new Super Mario Action Figure. According to S.H. Figuarts, this is the world's first full action Mario figure, complete with flexing joints and free-flow posability. A video showcasing the figure's capabilities was posted on February 9 on Bandai's YouTube channel.

The figure will be released for sale alongside two other play set expansions featuring some of Mario's iconic accessories and enemies. The details for the three separate sets are as follows:

The figure set and expansion playsets will be released in May. Bandai has already started taking preorders on Amazon and AmiAmi as of February 7.
