Hanasaku Iroha's Mel Kishida Holds Reverse Autograph Session

Illustrator Mel Kishida, whose done original character designs for works like Hana-Saku Iroha and Red Data Girl, is quite the character himself. He's known for his goofy costumes, including gold bodysuits and even Kan Colle's Shimakaze.

Recently, Kishida held a "reverse autograph" session on February 9 at the Akihabara Karenoshimin Aruba restaurant as part of a Niconico PR stunt. Fans could either purchase a box of Karenoshimin Aruba curry for Kishida to sign, or... sign him. Or more specifically, his body suit.

Those who missed the event will have another chance to see Kishida on March 18 at the Tower Records in Shibuya.
