Cafe in Ikebukuro's Namja Town to feature themed parfaits, crane games, Valentine's chocolates and more

Yowamushi Pedal enthusiasts should hop on their bikes and pedal over to Ikebukuro next month. Namja Town, an indoor theme park in Ikebukuro's vast Sunshine City shopping complex, will feature a Yowamushi Pedal-themed cafe from February 8 to April 6.

The cafe, "Yowamushi Pedal in Namja Town," will feature an assortment of dishes inspired by the manga, for instance this ice parfait featuring the character Midōsuji called the "Kimokimokimokimokimo!!" ("Kimoi" means "creepy.") Customers can get a picture of a Yowapeda character with each menu item. There will also be crane games and minigames galore, including "High Cadence Garapon," a box that is turned with a crank to drop a random ball, and "Tadokoro's Bread Collapse," where players knock down stacks of "special burgers." These games let you win original merchandise like the cushion and sacks shown below.

More merchandise featuring the Yowapeda cast with cat ears can be purchased during these months at Namja Town's Najamoja Market, including a post card album, and a blanket.

There will also be photo booths allowing fans to get pictures framed with Yowapeda characters and character panels (life-size cardboard cut-outs of the characters) on display around the mall.

Finally, there will be a vote on which Yowapeda character fans most want to give a valentine to. To vote, you must buy a "big heart chocolate" featuring the characters and submit the ballot inside. The winner will be featured in the future as a "bib-style microfiber cloth."

And of course, there is plenty of Yowapeda-themed food to enjoy.
