Kyary Pamyu Pamyu London Concert on April 29

Venue is O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, tickets go on sale online this Friday at 9 a.m.

The singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will appear at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on April 29 at 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale at ticketweb (here) and ticketmaster (here). According to the event's facebook page, tickets will be available on Friday January 24 at 9 a.m. The event is part of the "KPP Nanda Collection World Tour 2014."

Born as Kimeko Takemura, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu contributed the theme song "Kimi ni 100 Percent" for the Crayon Shin-chan television anime series. Her duet with the Crayon Shin-chan character is pictured right. The single premiered at #3 on Oricon's weekly sales chart. She previously released the Kyarypamyupamyu no Ghibli Set album in 2011 which covered theme songs from various Studio Ghibli films. One of her best-known songs is 'PonPonPon,' produced by Yasutaka Nakata of capsule in 2011, which became a YouTube hit.

In 2012, the singer's first album Pamyu Pamyu Revolution debuted at #1 on the United States iTunes Store's bestselling electronic album chart. The artist also sang in 2012's Kōhaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Song Battle), the New Year's Eve singing contest that is Japan's most viewed music television program, and has been featured in Jigoku no Misawa's Kakko-Kawaii Sengen! manga.
