Akita Shoten Celebrates 40 Years of Masami Kurumada With Special T-Shirt

To celebrate Masami Kurumada's 40 years as a mangaka (Saint Seiya, Ring ni Kakero, B't X), publishing company Akita Shoten is offering pre-orders for a limited edition t-shirt showcasing Kurumada's lead characters. The front of the t-shirt reads "Hot-Blooded 40th" and "Legends never end..." while the back reads "Make the Impossible Possible" and "In order to draw a big dream... to let you feel a big dream," a quote from Jitsuroku! Shinwakai.

The t-shirt comes in sizes small, medium, and large, and is selling for ¥3,800. It is expected to ship March 2014.

Kurumada debuted as a professional manga artist in 1974 with Sukeban Arashi.
