These coasters look really charming and happy-go-lucky until you realize they're from Assassination Classroom, a manga series and OVA about students trying to assassinate their alien teacher, Korosensei.

Depicted as an octopus-like creature with a large, smiling round head, Korosensei is responsible for vaporizing 70% of the moon. Despite the heavy bounty on his head, he ends up teaching middle school, and threatens to destory the Earth unless one of his students can kill him.

The coasters depict Korosensei in various emotional states.
