Technical High School Builds a Replica Metal Gear REX for Culture Festival
posted on by Eric Stimson
Chiba Prefectural Keiyō Technical High School, a high school in Chiba that emphasizes machinery, construction and electronics, held its annual cultural festival on November 1-2. The construction department built an intimidating greeting for its visitors: a replica of Metal Gear REX, the war machine from the Metal Gear Solid game series.

The school's geeky bent is further evidenced by the festival's name, "The Attacking Keikou" [short for "Keiyō Technical"] — a probable reference to Attack on Titan, which is known in Japanese as "The Attacking Titans."
