Mitsubishi and Sanrio release a special pink car for Hello Kitty's birthday.
Mitsubishi has teamed up with Sanrio to offer a special Hello Kitty-themed Mirage. In celebration of Hello Kitty's 40th birthday, this limited run of 400 cars tips its hat to some iconic Hello Kitty imagery, with a bright pink paint job, custom Hello Kitty ribbon-shaped hub caps, and Hello Kitty upholstery.
The car will be released in Japan starting November 1 at a starting price of 1,116,570 yen (~$11,500). Although there've been whispers about Mitsubishi selling the car outside Japan, no decision has been made yet.
