Menstrual cramps can be pretty awful, as half of the population could tell you, but there's no reason not to find a creative way to air your grievances. Twitter user @kazari_tayu turned to comics to describe the monthly battle with cramps.
The five-panel comic she posted on Twitter currently almost has 11,000 retweets, and nearly 6,500 favorites, because hey, people get it.
It depicts an average day of trying to deal with menstrual cramps.
Like when the pain hits when you're trying to work...
Or when you're at home, waiting for the pain meds to kick in...
Or the impromptu calisthenics involved in trying to mitigate cramp pain...
Or when you hop into a hot bath, hoping the warm water will settle your cramps...
Until you realize what you've just done.
