6HP Christmas Cosmetics Get Tie-In Anime Short With Hatsune Miku

Famed make-up artist Shu Uemura and contemporary artist Takashi Murakami's "Six Hearts Princess" cosmetics line now has a new short anime tie-in called "6HP (Six Heart Princess) Pink or Black."
"6HP" is a magical girl animation produced by Murakami's Ponkotan studio and features character designs by mebae ( C – Control – The Money and Soul of Possibility, Aura: Maryūinkōga Saigo no Tatakai). The animation features characters Pink Princess and Black Princess as well as a magical mascot designed by Uemura. The song "Pink and Black" is by composer livetune and virtual idol Hatsune Miku. The short is different from the 6HP PVs previously made by Ponkotan, as well as an older short animated by Kaikai Kiki Animation Studio, which is also run by Murakami.
The two characters play off the collection's theme of a woman's desire to "transform." The twin faces of reality and fantasy, light and shadow, are expressed with the two characters, Pink Princess and Black Princess. They embody the contrasting traits of a good child and naughty child as well as innocence and sexiness.
The cosmetic line will be available worldwide on November 1.
