Sleep-Inducing CD Invites You To Snuggle Up With Your Sister

Edge Records is releasing the first volume in its "Issho ni Nemureru CD Series" (Let's Sleep Together) just in time for insomniacs wanting some sisterly TLC. The drama CD offers four little sister characters who want to sleep with you (mostly) platonically.

Voice actresses Chinatsu Akasaki ( Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!' Yumi Uchiyama (Love Lab's Natsuo Maki), Yuka Ōtsubo (Vividred Operation's Wakaba Saegusa, Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily's Kyōko Toshinō), Yumi Uchiyama (Good Luck Girl!'s Momiji, The Devil Is a Part-Timer!'s Mayumi Kisaki) and veteran voice actress Tomoko Kaneda (Madlax's Leticia, Hanaukyo Maid Team's Cynthia) are voicing the four sisters.

Chinatsu Akasaki voices Mifuyu, your 15-year-old tsundere sister. She's 4'10 but if you ask her, she'd tell you she's 4'11. She always calls you "Aniki" in public but really wants to call you "Onii-chan." In her story, she wants to go to a theme park with you. Unwillingly to outright ask you, she claims that she invited her friend but they declined. Everything's going well until the two of you go to play at the cliffs...
Her character was designed by H2SO4.


Yuka Ōtsubo voices 16-year-old Akiho, who really has the hots for you. As her older brother, you believe the two of you are tied as siblings, and that kind of romance isn't possible. Everyday she takes an extra-long shower in the hopes that you'll come peep at her. In her story, your parents go out for the evening, so she takes the opportunity to put on a sexy negligee and comes to your room...
Her character was designed by Sōichi Itō (Demon King Daimao).


Yumi Uchiyama voices the athletic 14-year-old Saika. Saika is cheerful and loves to play outside in the summer, never worrying about getting a tan. In her story, she comes down with a cold. Worried about her health, you take care of her. Initially you make a joke about sleeping next to her because she's weak, but she unexpectedly accepts.
Her character was designed by Humikane Shimada (Strike Witches)


Tomoko Kaneda voices 10-year-old Haruna. Haruna always wears her costume pajamas to bed . One night, she suddenly comes into your room after having a bad dream and asks to sleep next to you.
Her character was designed by Dan Yoshii (Senki Zesshō Symphogear, Ontama!).


The CD will be released on December 11. The title lists it as "Volume 1," so you can expect more in the "Sleeping Together" CD series in the future. As a genre, the CD is just one in a recent type of "sleep aid" products. The Android app "Isshoni Sleeping with Hinako" was released as part of the Isshoni Sleeping: Sleeping with Hinako anime tie-in in 2011. Hinako starred in a bunch of how-to videos explaining how to do mundane tasks like bathe and work-out. Two real-life counterparts were opened in Tokyo recently that let customers pay to sleep beside a real woman.
