Art From I.G's Shelved Snake Plissken Anime Revealed

Production art from the defunct Snake Plissken anime project was posted by Ain't It Cool News on Tuesday.

The planned effort by Production I.G featured the protagonist Snake Plissken from John Carpenter's 1981 film Escape From New York starring Kurt Russell. John Carpenter, Kurt Russell, and movie producer Debra Hill were all involved directly in the project. The stamped production materials all date from June 2003.

Ain't It Cool News posted more images and reports that still "more will be brought online in the coming days."
