Bandai Namco Games Announces 2nd Kuroko's Basketball Game
posted on by Karen Ressler
This year's 36th issue of Shonen Jump, which will ship next Monday, will announce a second game adaptation of Tadatoshi Fujimaki's Kuroko's Basketball manga series, Kuroko no Basuke -Shōri e no Kiseki- (Kuroko's Basketball -The Path to Victory-). Bandai Namco Games is developing the game, which will feature an original story, for Nintendo 3DS. The announcement features game images of the manga's characters in super-deformed style. More details will be added to the game's official site, which is currently empty.
Kuroko's Basketball was previously adapted into a PlayStation Portable game that featured the voice actors from the anime adaptation. The game shipped last August.
Production I.G's television anime adaptation premiered last spring, and Crunchyroll streamed the series in various countries outside of Japan as it aired. A second season is slated to begin airing this October.
