Reenact Ace Attorney in Real-Life at Tokyo Theme Park
posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Yokohama amusement park Tokyo JOYPOLIS announced on Friday that it would be collaborating with CAPCOM's Gyakuten Saiban 5 (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies) Nintendo 3DS video game for a live-action mystery attraction three times a day between July 27 and September 1.
In the attraction, players must solve mysteries and complete missions as the main characters of the story. The attraction begins with the murder of a popular musical artist, and the players must defend the murder suspect. Before one hour and a half is up, the players must find clues to prove the truth behind the crime, and also catch the real criminal. The park estimates the attraction will take one hour to complete.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies is set one year after the fourth main game, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. In the game, Phoenix and Athena will battle in court against the younger brother of Winston Payne, Gaspen Payne.
The game will ship on July 25 in Japan with a limited-edition version that includes a Phoenix Wright figure. It will then arrive in the West this fall.
