Put Madoka Magica Mini-Figures in Your Cup of Tea
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

The magical girls of Puella Magi Madoka Magica will be recreated in miniature form as tea and coffee cup companions. A total of six "Cup no Puchiko" figures — Sitting Madoka, Balancing Sayaka, Lemon & Mami, Clinging Homura, Hanging Kyubey and Climbing Kyoko — will be released by Kitan Club in October. Fans can purchase the figures directly as a complete set for 2,400 yen (about US$24). Each figure measures about 50 millimeters (2 inches) high.
The popular magical girl series has inspired a variety of merchandise since it premiered in 2011 including dress-up dolls, stamps, glow-in-the-dark boxer shorts, and 1/2- and 1/3-sized figures.
The first two Madoka Magica films opened on October 6 and 13 in Japan and Aniplex will release the films in North America next month.
