MoCa News confirmed on Sunday that Love Live! School idol paradise, the tentatively titled new PlayStation Vita game in the Love Live! idol franchise, is being developed by Dingo. The "Love Live! μ's 3rd Anniversary Love Live!" event announced that the developer of the Hatsune Miku Project Diva and Photo Kano games is producing this rhythm game for release next spring.
Game developer KLab and Bushiroad's Bushimo label released the Love Live! School Idol Festival iOS rhythm game in April.
In 2010, the anime studio Sunrise, Lantis, and ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G Magazine launched Love Live! as a self-described "ultimate user-participation project" which lets its fans vote on the future of the fictional idols. A series of music CDs and animated music videos then followed.
An anime series adaptation premiered in Japan on January 6. The media service Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan and NIS America has licensed the series for North American release.
A second anime season is slated to premiere next spring.
