The July issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine is revealing next week that the manga creator character Rohan Kishibe will be a playable character in Namco Bandai Games' JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle fighting game for the PlayStation 3. This year's expanded 25th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is also revealing next Monday that Part 2's boss character Kars is also joining the roster.
Kishibe was first introduced in Hirohiko Araki's manga's fourth part. Other previously-revealed playable characters for the manga's fourth part include Jōsuke Higashikata (Wataru Hatano), Okuyasu Nijimura (Wataru Takagi), Yoshikage Kira (Rikiya Koyama), Kōichi Hirose, and antagonist Akira Otoshi.
Previously-revealed playable characters from the manga's second part include Joseph Joestar (Tomokazu Sugita), Wham (Akio Ohtsuka), Caesar Zeppeli (Takuya Satō), and ACDC (Keiji Fujiwara).
The game is scheduled for August 29, and the first copies of the limited and regular editions will both include a Hayato Kawajiri memo pad and a download code for the Yoshikage Kira character. There will also be a limited-number "Gold Experience Box" containing a gold art plate with an etching of Giorno Giovanna and Gold Experience by Araki in an acrylic case, a figure of Jōtarō Kujo and Star Platinum (that can be displayed with an August prize figure of Dio), and a soundtrack CD.
The regular edition will cost 7,980 yen (about US$78), while the limited-edition "Gold Experience Box" will cost 16,980 yen (about US$166). CyberConnect2 is developing the game for the PlayStation 3 console.
