Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate PS3, Xbox 360 Game Gets Western Release This Fall

Game developer Tecmo revealed on its Facebook page on Thursday that the Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate game for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be heading to North America and Europe this fall. Tecmo KOEI Games and Team Ninja also released an introduction trailer for the new game.

Tecmo KOEI will release Team Ninja's latest game physically and digitally. The "definitive Dead or Alive 5 package" will add new modes from Dead or Alive+ such as the Skill Info Plus and a tutorial mode, and will include new fighting stages such as locations from the Ninja Gaiden series. The new game will have new fighters, including the first-ever appearance of Momiji. The new version will also have both a single-player mode and an online mode. The game will also ship in Japan this fall.

Team Ninja producer Yōsuke Hayashi had revealed last month that a new Dead or Alive 5 project was in development for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The Dead or Alive 5+ PS Vita port of the original Dead or Alive 5 game shipped last month in North America and Japan. Tecmo KOEI released the original Dead or Alive 5 game for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in September 2012.
