Hatsune Miku Dress-Up Doll for Girls Previewed in Photo
posted on by Egan Loo
Hatsune Miku Licca-chan listed for July release from Takara Tomy
The anime news and retail site Presepe posted the first photograph of Hatsune Miku Licca-chan, a dress-up doll aimed towards girls, earlier this week. While Takara Tomy, the maker of Licca-chan, has not confirmed the collaboration, Presepe lists the doll for a July 31 release with a suggested retail price of 2,940 yen (about US$30).
Licca-chan's popularity is often compared to that of the United States' Barbie doll, and it has spawned multiple anime adaptations. Licca-chan was originally designed by manga artist Miyako Maki, who is the wife of anime and manga creator Leiji Matsumoto.
