Evangelion 3.0's AAA Wunder Inspires Garage Kit

Garage kit designer Model Replica Design (MRD) created a kit based on the AAA Wunder flying airship from Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo anime film. A prototype of the model was displayed at the Treasure Festa in Ariake 9 event at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition hall on Sunday.

Each kit will retail for 18,000 yen (about US$182) and mail orders are expected to ship next month. MRD also sold kits of the Horizont dropship from Genesis Climber Mospeada and the character Maho Orihara from the Space Battleship Yamato Resurrection film.

The Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo movie ended its screening run in Japanese theaters on April 17, after earning 5,260,000,000 yen (about US$53.7 million).
