A “Miku Miku Hockey” game will be available to play at the Hatsune Miku & Piapro Exhibit booth during the Niconico Chōkaigi 2 event that will take place from April 27 to 28 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The game, which is made in a collaboration with Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia and Crypton Future Media, uses Smart AR technology (augumented reality) developed by Sony. The player uses the PS Vita console provided at the booth to face off against virtual diva Hatsune Miku or her miniature version Miku Dayō in a game of air hockey. Miku Miku Dance designers Lat and Suzu designed the two models.
Miku Miku Hockey will only be available on the PS Vita placed at the booth, and there are no plans currently to release the game for retail.
