Japanese publisher Shueisha released a free "Jump Camera!!" app for iOS devices on Saturday on the Japanese iTunes Store.

The app allows users to take photos and turn those photos into a "Shonen Jump-style" image. Users can edit the photo so it is featured on a sample cover of an issue of Shonen Jump, or in a colored manga image. Users can also make the a photo into a black-and-white manga-style panel that features words and speech bubbles from Shonen Jump and other Shueisha titles. Manga series available to choose from in the app include Dragon Ball, Naruto, Kuroko's Basketball, One Piece, Ansatsu Kyōshitsu, Blue Exorcist, New Prince of Tennis, Sket Dance, Death Note, Bakuman., Beelzebub, Toriko, and others.

The Jump Camera!! app comes with more than 250 items to use to edit and decorate the photos. Extra frames, items, and lettering tools are available for purchase, with each item set costing 85 yen (US$0.90). In total, there are more than 1,000 possible items users can have to edit the images.

Users can also submit images to a timeline within the app, follow other users, and press a "like" button for others' pictures. The app will also feature ranking boards to rank images with the most likes.

Shueisha previously released a "shonenjump.com App" and a "Jump Book Store!" app for iOS and Android devices.
