Piccolo, Trunks, Freeza, and Cell join character roster for iPhone and Android game
Namco Bandai Games began streaming a promo video for their Dragon Ball Tap Battle game for smartphones on the game's official website on Tuesday. The video features playable characters Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Piccolo, Trunks, Freeza, and Cell.
The Dragon Ball Tap Battle game allows players to deal increased amounts of damage to their opponent by correctly tapping the screen during action events. The game has Bluetooth support, letting players play against each other just by having their phones close to each other.
The 2D action-fighting game was released in Japan on Tuesday for the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and iPhone 5, as well as for Android phones version 2.3 or higher. The game costs 350 yen (US$3.69).
