Snowboarding anime fans converge on Nagano ski resort with cosplay gear

The TV Asahi variety show Nani Kore Chinhyakkei — the rough equivalent of Ripley's Believe It or Not! or That's Incredible — filled a report about a gathering of cosplaying, snowboarding anime fans during a two-hour special on Wednesday. The fans converged on a ski resort in Nagano Prefecture with their "ita-ita" (decorated snowboards), skis, and cosplay (including crossplay) gear:
