Monolith Unveils Wii U Game With Xenogears/Xenosaga Veterans

Chief director Tetsuya Takahashi, designer Kunihiko Tanaka reunite; Sengoku Basara's Hiroyuki Sawano composes
Monolith Soft (Xenosaga, Xenoblade Chronicles, Project X Zone) presented a teaser video for a new Wii U game during the live Nintendo Direct stream on Wednesday.
The game features at least two of the staff members from Squaresoft's Xenogears game and Monolith Soft's subsequent Xenosaga trilogy; Monolith Soft head Tetsuya Takahashi (Xenoblade Chronicles) serves as the executive director (or chief director) of this new game, and Kunihiko Tanaka (Ichigeki Sacchu!! HoiHoi-san, Key the Metal Idol, Ruin Explorers, Sands of Destruction) is designing the characters. Joining them is musical composer Hiroyuki Sawano (Blue Exorcist, Sengoku Basara - Samurai Kings, Mobile Suit Gundam UC).
