Signboard sketch is a contest prize for Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha subscribers
North American manga publisher Viz Media began streaming a video of artist Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro sketching his popular character, Toriko, on Monday:
Shimabukuro drew the signboard on earlier this year. Viz initially streamed it for Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha subscribers only. Viz is now holding a contest for members only to win the signboard in the video signed by Shimabukuro, or a signboard by Bakuman. creators Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata.
serializes Toriko in its digital anthology Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha, which has posted videos of other creators' sketches in the past. Viz will print Toriko's 14th book volume in February.
