Danganronpa TV Anime's Cast, Additional Staff Revealed

The official website for the Danganronpa Kibō no Gakuen to Zetsubō no Kōkōsei The Animation television anime series opened on Monday, revealing the show's main cast and staff.
The cast, which is unchanged from the video game, is as follows:
- Megumi Ogata as Makoto Naegi
- Makiko Ohmoto as Sayaka Maizono
- Takahiro Sakurai as Reon Kuwata
- Yōko Hikasa as Kyōko Kirigiri
- Akira Ishida as Byakuya Togami
- Kappei Yamaguchi as Hifumi Yamada
- Kazuya Nakai as Mondo Ōwada
- Miyuki Sawashiro as Tohko Fukawa
- Hekiru Shiina as Celestia Ludenwerg
- Chiwa Saitō as Aoi Asahina
- Kōsuke Toriumi as Kiyotaka Ishimaru
- Kujira as Sakura Ōgami
- Masaya Matsukaze as Yasuhiro Hagakure
- Megumi Toyoguchi as Junko Enoshima
- Kōki Miyata as Chihiro Fujisaki
- Nobuyo Ōyama as Monokuma
Seiji Kishi (Persona 4 The Animation) is directing the adaptation of Spike Chunsoft's action-adventure game for the PlayStation Portable. Makoto Uezu is in charge of series composition and scripts, and Lerche is animating the project. The series will premiere next year.

The game revolves around a school that has been the site of a murder, and the player is forced to see through other students' contradictions in their stories and back up their claims with evidence found through investigations.
