posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The Pokémon Company released its official Pokédex app for iOS devices in North America and Europe on Monday. The company had released the app in Japan last month. The app costs US$1.99 (or £1.49/€1.79) and uses 3D models similar to those in Pokédex 3D for Nintendo 3DS. The app is also available in French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
The app starts with information on Pokémon from the Unova region (Pokédex numbers 494-647). Customers can then purchase additional packs for US$5.99 (or £3.99/€5.49) each featuring data from the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh regions. The app provides information on the look of each Pokémon, its basic stats, moves, abilities, where it can be found, what types of moves are strong against it, among other information.
