27.5-Centimeter/11-Inch Poseable Mami Tomoe Figure Revealed

The Medicom Toy company has revealed a 27.5-centimeter (about 11-inch) tall Mami Tomoe figure inspired by the Madoka Magica television anime series. The poseable figure is a part of the retailer's Real Action Heroes (RAH) MGM series.
Max Factory and Good Smile Company are both working together to develop the figure, which will ship in May 2013 and will retail for 22,000 yen (about US$275). The figure will come with three interchangeable facial expressions and six of Mami's signature muskets. The figure will also come with a stand and a mini Charlotte the Dessert Witch figure.
The three companies previously worked together to create a 30-centimeter (about 12-inch) poseable Madoka Kaname character figure.
In related news, Newtype has revealed the cover for its Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie mook (magazine-style book) that it is releasing on Friday. Original character designer Ume Aoki drew the cover illustration. The 122-page magazine retail for 950 yen (about US$12).
