BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma Fighting Game's Opening Streamed
posted on by Egan Loo
Enterbrain's Famitsu website began streaming the opening movie for Arc System Works' arcade fighting game BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma on Thursday.
The game will feature a new "overdrive" system that allows the player's character to have increased strength for a limited amount of time. During "overdrive," a player can use an "awakening technique" — a super special move — that can settle the fight in one move.
The game will also feature new characters. Amane-Ninki is voiced by Akira Ishida, Azrael is voiced by Hiroki Yasumoto, and Barrette is voiced by Toa Yukinari. Each new character will have new background music and special effects sounds.
The location test runs of the game have already taken place in Japan, and it will formally launch in arcades in late November. The game will also be heading to the PlayStation 3 console.
