Code of Princess RPG's English Versus Trailer Streamed
posted on by Kimberly Grace
Atlus USA began streaming an English trailer on Tuesday for the upcoming release of the Code of Princess role-playing game for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console. The video highlight's the game's "Versus Mode" that allows up to four players to fight each other.
Atlus announced that it would be releasing the game in North America in June. The company released a teaser trailer for the game later the same month. Customers who pre-order the game will receive a "Code of Princess Sounds & Visual Book," which will feature artwork from designer Kinu Nishimura (Street Fighter III, CAPCOM vs. SNK) and music from ACE's soundtrack.
The game was inspired by a figurine line of the same name. Code of Princess combines elements of role-playing games with classic side-scrolling brawler games. The game will allow up to four players to play cooperatively or against one another. In the game, players attempt to restore balance to the world by controlling a variety of characters. Tadashi Shida (Suzuka, Kiddy Grade) storyboarded, directed, and animated the game's opening sequence. Agatsuma Entertainment is currently streaming the opening sequence on its website.
Code of Princess originally shipped in Japan on April 19, and Atlus USA will release the game in North America on October 9.
