Final Fantasy XIV Revamp Detailed in 1-Hour Subtitled Video

On Friday, Square Enix posted a one-hour video from the Final Fantasy XIV Special Talk Show it held at the Final Fantasy Exhibition in Tokyo on September 1. The video contains subtitles in English, German, and French. (Select the "CC" icon on the bottom right of the video to select between the subtitles in different languages.)
Producer/Director Naoki Yoshida, Assistant Director Kazuya Nino, Technical Director Yoshihisa Hashimoto, Lead Battle Planner Akihiko Matsui, and Sound Director Masayoshi Soken walked fans through the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn revamp of the massive multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG).
Alpha testing will begin this winter, and Square Enix is already recruiting testers on Windows PCs. The current incarnation of Final Fantasy XIV will go offline on November 11 with plans to migrate players over to the new game.
